A plan built around you
Start with a medical evaluation, a conversation about your goals, and a plan tailored to your health history.
- Your clinician determines whether medication is appropriate and selects the treatment and dose.
- Follow-up and dose changes depend on your response, tolerability, and clinical needs.
- Nutrition, movement, sleep, and sustainable habits support the plan.
- Results vary. Treatment and medication eligibility are not guaranteed.
Medication decisions made with your clinician
Medication may be one part of your care plan. Your clinician reviews your medical history, current medications, goals, and treatment options before prescribing. Ask about potential benefits, side effects, alternatives, and costs.
Do not change your dose or restart treatment on your own. Contact your care team for guidance.
What about compounded medication?
When clinically appropriate and legally available, your clinician may discuss a compounded medication if an FDA-approved option cannot meet your needs.
Compounded medications are not FDA approved. The FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. They should not be described as equivalent to FDA-approved products.
Ask your clinician and dispensing pharmacy about the specific formulation, instructions, storage, and risks.
Know your costs before treatment
Medication is separate from your monthly membership. Confirm the prescribed dose, quantity, dispensing pharmacy, and current price before each order.
In-clinic administration of a prescribed program injection carries no additional administration fee for members; the medication remains a separate cost.
Labs, rapid tests, specimen services, imaging, procedures, and medical equipment are separate unless expressly included. Contact us for a cost estimate.
Follow-up based on your needs
Your clinician sets the follow-up schedule and may require an evaluation or monitoring before a refill or dose change. There is no universal dosing or visit schedule for every member.
Pausing medication or skipping an order does not pause membership billing. For billing or cancellation requests, email membership@apturgentcare.com and follow your current membership agreement.
